I am Laura Jane G, a caring and experienced female home carer with a passion for helping others. With years of experience in various care types including live-in, hourly, and overnight care, I have had the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and conditions.
Throughout my career, I have gained experience in providing care for individuals with Mild Cognitive Impairment, those who are bedbound, Parkinson's Disease patients, as well as individuals dealing with anxiety and depression. I am well-versed in assisting with bathing, toileting, dressing, catheter care, and providing companionship.
One of the aspects that sets me apart from others is my ability to drive, as I possess a valid driver's license and have my own car. This allows me to not only provide care within the home, but also assist clients with getting to medical appointments, running errands, or simply enjoying leisure activities.
In addition to my professional skills and experience, I also have various hobbies that enhance my ability to provide companionship and engage with clients. I enjoy walking, dancing, playing card games, cooking and baking, as well as solving puzzles. These interests allow me to connect with individuals on a personal level, helping to create a warm and fulfilling environment.
Furthermore, I am open to working with individuals who have pets, as I am comfortable caring for cats, dogs, fish, rabbits, and birds. I believe that pets can bring joy and companionship to one's life, and am more than happy to assist with their care as well.
Above all, my motivation for caring stems from my desire to help individuals lead independent lives with dignity.
